Lovebus does San Antonio

Alamo KOA Holiday was our choice in downtown San Antonio . It’s set alongside a creek with a walking path that we used for walking the dogs and biking daily. It had a very nice pool, tons of trees and a great dog park. The pups are truly enjoying our new lifestyle choice! Right out front of the KOA is a bus stop that takes you directly downtown to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. There is tons to do in this area including the best Mexican food in the state. We recommend that you try some enchiladas or a Mexican plate while you’re here. ” The Pearl” is a very hip area named after the old Pearl Brewery. Its a historic, renovated area with a handful of great restaurants and bars and The Hotel Emma is something you must walk through and stop at the beautiful bar for an afternoon refreshment. Outside in the courtyard there was a farmers market going on, live music playing, people hula hooping, drinking mimosas and kids running through the waterfall. Great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday morning. The farmers market goes on from 9-2 both days. We stopped in a yummy ice cream shop called Lick Honest Ice Cream. Its known for using organic ingredients and we thought it was delicious!

We were lucky to get to spend some time with our grandson Evan while in San Antonio. We came to spend a few nights on the Lovebus and is so proud that he is as big as the wheel! He asked for this picture! We had fun hiking, swimming and bike riding together. Next time we see him he will be bigger than the wheel.
