Winery Stop

As we become seasoned full timers there are many tricks and perks to this life, one being Harvest Host. Harvest Host is a group that RVers can join for a nominal yearly fee and get the extraordinary benefits of visiting many wineries all over the US. When we are between destinations and need a one night stay we pull up the Harvest Host map, find the nearest winery, call the owner to check for availability, and stay one night absolutely free on the vineyard. Its generally boon docking, which means you aren’t hooked up to electric or water but for one night that’s easy peasy. It is courtesy to buy a bottle of wine as a thank you but our first winery we loved the tasting so much we bought six bottles. We already are reaping benefits from this membership and plan to use it many more times in the future!

We enjoyed our wine on the patio, listening to a guitar soloist, with some yummy appetizers on a cool, refreshing evening after a day of driving. Walked over to the Love Bus to go to sleep and the next morning left the property by 8am. It was a great stop! Thank you Harvest Host and Corbin Farms Winery!
